Dr. Martin Ray, MCFP (SEM), CCFP (Sport & Exercise Medicine), Dip. Sport Med (CASEM)
Dr. Ray is a highly respected expert in sports medicine with more than 25 years of experience caring for athletes at all levels. A member of the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM), he brings extensive expertise from his sports medicine consulting practice and his roles as a CASEM examiner as well as Physician for the WHL’s Vancouver Giants since 2001 and Physician for Skateboard Canada since 2021.
He also served as Physician at the 2010 Olympic Games (Ice Hockey) and 2020 Olympic Games (Skateboarding), Chief Medical Officer for the 2006 World Junior Hockey Championship and 2007 Memorial Cup, and provided long-time service with the Canadian Alpine Ski Team (1990-present) and Whistler Mountain Ski and Bike Park Patrol (1986–2022).
Dr. Ray was inducted into the Delta Sports Hall of Fame in 2014 for his contributions in the Sports Medicine Builder category and continues to play an active role in advancing athlete health and performance in Canada.
While a formal referral is not required, all patients must complete the sports medicine intake form prior to booking a consultation or appointment with Dr. Ray for sports medicine concerns. Please contact us for more information.
