Dr. Judith Fletcher Receives Lifetime Achievement Award


We’re thrilled to announce that our co-owner, Dr. Judy Fletcher, was recently honoured by the Tsawwassen Business Improvement Association (TBIA) with their prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. This recognition reflects her years of dedication, compassionate care, and active contribution to our community.


The award was presented on September 23, 2025 at Tsawwassen's Beach Grove Golf Club in front of over 45 people who gathered to honour and celebrate her.



Dr. Fletcher has always been committed to offering high-quality, patient-centred care. Her vision helped shape View Medical Family Practice in Tsawwassen, a clinic she and her partner Dr. Martin Ray founded in 1987, into a place where every patient feels heard, valued, and supported in their health journey.


Beginning her career in healthcare as a pediatric nurse at BC Children’s Hospital in 1976, Dr. Fletcher served in that role for more than six years, making a lasting impact on countless young lives and families. During this time, she also achieved what she considers her greatest accomplishment: becoming a mother to her three wonderful children: Alanna, Michael, and Lauren. She brought the same grace, patience, and strength to motherhood as she did to her professional work.


Receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the TBIA is more than a certificate — it is a celebration of Dr. Fletcher’s:


  • unwavering service to patients over many years

  • mentorship of younger practitioners, colleagues and staff

  • advocacy for health initiatives that reach beyond clinic walls into the community

  • involvement in local businesses, community groups and civic health initiatives
